I took a few days off blogging because things have generally been uneventful, which is a good thing right?

The last few weeks my mom’s been making me drink her Chinese bone broth soup. Consuming bone marrow and collagen is supposedly beneficial because it helps boost your immune system and bla bla bla ancient Chinese medicinal reasons.

Yesterday morning my parents and I went to urgent care in St. Louis Park early in the morning to reduce the risk of waiting a long time.

I didn’t intend on writing a blog post today to give myself a break because I figured I didn’t have anything worthwhile to write about.

Hairloss as a result of chemo therapy is straight up depressing. You’re reminded of it every moment of every day as you’ll find hair on your clothes, pillow, and towel. I can’t even scratch my head without seeing a few hairs drop.

Yesterday was my week 3 booster of Bleomycin and the final week of Round 1 of my chemo therapy plan.

Last night was another rough night. Went through 2 more sets of scrubs and a set of bedsheets due to my night sweats.

Yesterday night I sweat through 3 sets of scrubs and a whole set of bedsheets all before 2am. It’s never not annoying to be shocked awake in your own puddle of sweat.

I had a new nurse, Steven, who started freaking out yesterday afternoon because he took my temp at 99 and then an hour later I was as 102.9.
