This morning was a little crazy, I didn’t go to bed until 3:30 and spent about half an hour fighting with my alarm clock at 7.

So I got home from chicago around 11pm and I realized that since I chose a hockey bag as my luggage, I’d run the risk of everything inside getting wet if it rains.
I went to the grocery store and bought some extra large zip lock bags and proceeded to organize and bag all of my clothes.

At 3m bus took a quick pit stop at a gas station in the very exotic, Mauston Wisconsin. Coincidentally enough, my friend is on a similar road trip coming from Chicago to Minneapolis so I was able to chat with him midway at the gas station which definitely woke me up and gave this short trip a sort of small world feeling since we didn’t coordinate the meeting.

I just got on the megabus and I really lucked out. It’s pretty much 1/4th full and everyone’s already asleep so it’s pretty quiet. The internet as of right now isn’t bad at all so I’m very happy especially because I got a seat on top and the front of the bus.

So I realized that today is basically the last day I’m home until I leave on Tuesday night. My bus to Chicago leaves at 11:30 pm tonight and I’m frantically packing everything that comes to mind.

Ok so it’s 1am right now?
So lots of stuff has happened to make things uber complicated with my travel plans.
Today my mom called the chinese embassy in Hong Kong and they said that they do not issue multi entry visas so once I leave, I have to get another visa which is super inconvenient.

This trip has been basically 3 years in the making. The second I came back home from living in Beijing in ’08 I was already contemplating when I would come back either for work or travel.
