The last two weeks have gone by way faster than any point of time during my chemo treatment. I didn’t move back to my house but I did manage to get my car back and have been driving all over the place enjoying my temporary freedom before surgery.
Three months ago I was in really rough shape. When I had my appointment at the Mayo Clinic for the first time, I was running a fever, needed a wheelchair, was coughing like crazy, and had a hard time breathing.
After 4 rounds of intense chemo therapy I look to be in pretty good shape besides being bald.

My last full week of chemo was long and grueling as expected. Tried to change up how I spend my time by buying the book Ready Player One on Monday night. I binge read it and finished the 370-ish page book by Wednesday.

It was national dog day on Sunday and I failed to talk about Speedy on my last blog post! Joannna had a work conference on Wednesday so I asked my parents if we could have speedy back at the house while she was out of town for the next 3 days.
I’ve been in a mental pit the last two weeks. There’s an episode of The Simpsons where they spoof the movie The Shining that best represents what I’m feeling both externally and internally where Marge approaches a typewriter that Homer’s been working on…
