I showed up to the dive shop today and Amber surprised me by being my guide and bringing her friend Sarah who is a professional photographer. We went diving right off the shore near the dive shop and it was amazing. So much underwater life with a huge coral garden.
On one of the dives we followed this long metal chain that led to a mailbox. Amber said the dive shops in the area sell post cards that people can write on and place in the mailbox then once a week someone comes to collect them and send them out.
I was super lucky to be diving with Sarah, she recently got a dedicated underwater camera and got some really great pictures. Being the photographer on this trip, I’m usually not in many photos, so this was a nice change.
I had a few questions about yesterday’s dive and Alex running out of air. He was only 3ft from the surface when it started getting hard to breathe and he’s fine
I spent some time going through 50 min of go pro footage and stitched then together so you can see some of the cool stuff I got to experience during my dives.
The group picked me up around 2 and after getting cleaned up we headed to the huge mall in the area. It was a shopping day where the girls bought souvenirs and warmer clothing for the next part of the trip and the guys carried the bags.
Kimberly got me a really delicious Japanese cheesecake and Joanna asked them to write my name in Japanese..
