I am SO excited to write this first blog post for my next adventure back to Asia. For those who are joining me for the first time, this is my 4th travel blog. If you’re interested, you can check out my other ones here:

My roommate Alex and I will be leaving 4/30-5/19 to visit the Philippines, Singapore, and Taiwan.

The overall trip budget for the 2 1/2 weeks is about $2500 USD. Round trip tickets to Manila and back home were less than $1100 which is a really good deal. It took about 3 weeks, about 2-3 hrs per night, finding the right places to go, where to stay, and what to do.
Right now we’re 44 days away from departure and everything’s been set up so we just have to show up at the airport and take off. Kayak.com has an awesome planning tool which was really helpful when I was moving things around and figuring out flight dates.

I’ll be posting more as we get nearer to the departure date. My last blog had about 1300 hits with 26 posts over a 3 week trip. I would really love it if you guys would check up on this site periodically because I promise I’ll do my best to take pictures and update regularly.
